NHPC Vacancy Details:

Name of the Posts:

1.Trainee Engineer (Civil): 25 Posts

2.Trainee Engineer (Electrical): 130 Posts

3. Trainee Engineer (Mechanical): 25 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age limit should not exceed 30 years as on 01-04-2014.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology / B.Sc. (Engineering). Degree in relevant discipline of Engineering from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

How to Apply:Eligible candidates who are interested to join in NHPC should appear in GATE-2014. Interested candidates who have passed the eligibility qualification can apply online at NHPC Limited website http://www.nhpcindia.com/career.htm after obtaining the registration number for GATE-2014. Candidates can apply for GATE-2014 through the website http://www.gate.iitkgp.ac.in/gate2014  or websites of IISc, Bangalore or IITs of Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee.

Commencement of online submission of GATE Application: 02-09-2013.

Last date for online submission of GATE Application: 03-10-2013.

Last date for receipt of hard copy of online GATE Application at respective GATE Offices: 10-10-2013.

GATE Examination: Between 01-02-2014 and 02-03-2014.

Announcement of GATE Results: 28-03-2014.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Possessing Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute/University. Assistant Engineers (Civil) for S.No.1 Post, M.Sc. in Physics/ Material Science/B.Tech(Engineering Physics) for S.No.2 Post, Post Graduate with at least 55% marks S.No.3 Post, Graduate with 05 years relevant experience for S.No. 4 Post, and for other posts refer the notification.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written/trade test/ and /or interview.

Application Fee: A Fee of Rs. 200/- in the form of Demand Draft pay in any nationalized bank in favour of IIT PATNA, payable at Patna (no application fee for SC/ST/PH and women candidate).
