Age Limit: Candidates age should not exceed 56 years for regular appointment & 65 years for contract appointment.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess BE/ B.Tech and ME/ M.Tech in relevant subject with 1st class or equivalent either in BE/ B.Tech or ME/ M.Tech, Ph.D & with relevant field experience.

Registration Fee: Candidates have to pay Registration Fee of Rs.500/- s DD drawn on any nationalized Bank or Kerala State Co-operative Bank in favour of the Director, CAPE, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
