Every candidate must know the selection criteria of respected organization or department and relevant to which post he/she applying. Competitive exams are conducting by the organizations in order to select only those candidates which are enthusiastic and perfectly matching with their criteria. Selection process for every company is different but most of the organizations used the pattern mentioned below, goes through it carefully:


1. Preliminary Application Selection Process
In this section, the applications submitted by the candidates are checked by the organization and those applications which are not fulfilling the general requirement for eligibility as per organization mentioned are not select. In this part organization also checks candidate skills, education, family, daily habit and routine, interest etc.

2. Written Examination
90 percent of the organization conducts the written exam in order to check the knowledge, strategy and imagination power, ability to understand and solve the problems of the candidates as per subjects. Candidate must be prepared for the test by studying relevant syllabus. Generally examination is divided into parts and all are mostly of objective type questions and the pattern is like:
• Reasoning section
• Aptitude
• English section
• General awareness
• And other section as per organization requirement

3. Group Discussion
An important section for selection of candidate is GD. Organization conducts group discussion just to check the skills, body language and way of expressing views, ability and leadership quality in candidate. If you clear this section that means you has cleared 90% way to your destination.

4. Job Interview
Final and important section to select candidate into organization, this will be one on one interview or panel interview. Just be confident and calm.
