ASRB Recruitment 2013 – 192 Various Scientific Postitions: Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB) has issued notification for the recruitment of 192 various scientific posts under different institutes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. Names of the Posts:
1. Research Management Position (RMP): 17 Posts
2. Project Coordinator (PC): 02 Posts
3. Head of the Division (HOD): 20 Posts
4. Principal Scientist: 30 Posts
5. Senior Scientist: 123 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 60 years for RMP post, 52 years for Scientist posts and 47 yeas for Senior Scientist posts. The cut off date for determining the age limit is as on 10-06-2013. The retirement age is 62 years for all the positions.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Doctoral Degree/ Doctoral Degree in Engineering/ Master Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma in relevant branch from a recognized university. For complete details candidates should refer to the notification.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay the application fee in the form of crossed demand draft of Rs.500/- drawn in favour of Secretary, ASRB payable at New Delhi (India). For the candidates abroad, the application fee should be accompanied with a crossed International Bank Draft for US $50 drawn in favour of Secretary, ASRB payable at New Delhi (India). The SC/ ST/ Women/ Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the performance in interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format with all the mandatory details and recent passport size photograph along with DD, two envelopes (27 cm X 12 cm) First envelope: Name of the post with Advertisement No. & Item no. may be given on the top of the envelope, while name of the forwarding Authority with complete office address of the candidate may be given in the middle of the envelope. Second envelope: Name of the post with Advertisement No. & Item No. may be given on the top of the envelope, while name of the candidate and his/her address for correspondence (residential address) may be given in the middle of the envelope and copies of relevant certificates to the following address “To the Secretary, Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, Krishi Anusandhan Bhawan I, Pusa, New Delhi-110012″ on or before 10-06-2013.
