Name of the Posts: West Bengal Legal Service
Age Limit: Candidates minimum age limit should be 23 years and maximum age limit should not exceed 35 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree in Law, Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali, Citizen of India.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Written Examination and Personality Test.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.210/- (Rupees Two Hundred Ten) only by Indian Postal Order which must be purchased on a date after publication of this advertisement and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal of the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. SC/ST candidates of West Bengal are not required to pay any fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with I.P.O./Treasury Challan, in original, one copy of recent passport size photograph pasted on the application, attested or self-certified photocopies of certificates of age and prescribed educational qualification, caste certificate and two unstamped self-addressed envelopes enclosed in an envelope super scribed with the advertisement no. and name of the examination should reach to the Commission’s office at 161-A, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700 026 by post (strictly by registered or speed post or U.C.P.) or submit personally in open condition at the enquiry counter of the Commission’s office between 11:00 a.m. and 03:30 p.m. on all working days (Saturdays and Sundays are holidays) or before 16-09-2013.
