DLW Varanasi Recruitment 2013 – Scouts & Guides Quota Positions: Diesel Locomotive Works,(DLW), Indian Railway, Varanasi has issued notification for recruitment of the 03 Group ‘C’ & Group ‘D’ vacancies against Scouts & Guides quota under pay band of Rs.5200-20200. 1. Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-: 01 Post
2. Pay Band of Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-: 02 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 30 years for Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1900/- and 18 to 33 years for Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200+ GP 1800/- as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess minimum High School Pass or ITI or its equivalent and must be a President Scouts/ Guides/ Ranger/ Rover, or Himalayan Wood Badge Holder, or a pre-HWB trained Scouts leader/Advanced Trained Guides/ Leader/ Captain and should have been an active member of a scouts organization for at least 3 years in the recent past and should continue to be active.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written test and interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the processing fee of Rs.40/- in favour of F.A. & C.A.O.DLW/ Varanasi through Indian Postal Order. SC/ST/Female & Handicapped candidates fees are exempted.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format with a recent passport size photograph pasted thereon bearing full signature of the candidate along with two self addressed envelopes (one stamped of Rs. 5/- & one unstamped.) and copies of document viz, birth, educational, caste & scout guide qualification, etc enclosed in an envelope super scribe clearly “Recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota 2013-14″ should reach to the General Manager/ Personnel, Recruitment Section, DLW/VARANASI-221004 on or before 21-10-2013.
