Name of the Posts:
1. Football – Midfilder: 01 post
2. Volleyball – Smasher: 01 post
3. Kabaddi – Raider-cum-catcher: 01 post
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be in between 18-25 years as on 01-01-2014.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or ITI or equivalent and candidates should possess Outstanding sports achievements.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Trials and interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay application fee of Rs.40/- (for UR & OBC candidates) in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA & CAO , E.Rly./ Kolkata payable at GPO/ Kolkata.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in prescribed format along with attested copies of all certificates duly attested by Gazetted Officers in support of age, educational qualification, minimum sports achievement/ qualification, Crossed Indian Postal order, two identical passport size photos in an two self addressed envelopes (Size-23cm x 10cm) with postage stamps of Rs.5/- on each envelope superscribing as “Application for Appointment in PB-1, Rs. 5200-20200/- , Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- against Sports Quota 2013-14 open advertisement with employment notice no. & Sports Disciplines” should be sent by ordinary post only must reach to Chief Works Manager, C & W Workshop, Eastern Railway, Liluah, Howrah-711204 on or before 31-10-2013 at 16:00 hrs and for the candidates residing abroad and Andaman Nicobar, Lakshadweep Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Mizoram, Nagaland & Arunachal Pradesh the closing date is 15-11-13 at 16:00 hrs.
