Name of the Posts:
1. Constable (General Duty): 04 Posts
2. Constable (Motor Transport): 01 Post
3. Constable (Motor Transport Mechanic): 02 Posts
4. Library & Information Assistant: 01 Post
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 to 27 years as on 20-11-2013 for Constable posts and should not exceed 28 years as on 60 days after publication of advertisement in Newspaper for Library & Information Asst posts. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation from a recognized Board or University for Post No.1, Matriculation from recognized Board or University and must possess Valid driving license for light or heavy vehicles issued by the Transport Authority for Post No.2, Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University or Board with Diploma in Motor Mechanism from a recognized institution for Post No.3, Graduate from a recognized University and Bachelor of Library Science (B. Lib.) from a recognized university for Post No.4.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in physical efficiency test, trade test, written examination and medical examination.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can attend for selection tests along with duly filled application form, copies of required certificates (domicile, age, caste, technical qualification, experience etc.) along with their originals on 20-11-2013 at 08:00 hrs for Constables posts. Candidates applying for the post of Library & Information Assistant can send their duly filled application in the prescribed proforma along with self attested copies of all required documents (domicile, age, qualification, experience) and one self-addressed stamped envelope should be sent to the Director, North Eastern Police Academy, Umsaw, Umiam, Meghalaya with in 60 days from the publication of advertisement in Employment News.
