Age Limit: Candidates maximum age is 35 years for Assistant Librarian.
Educational Qualification: Candidates with Ph.D qualifications in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline for Professor and Ph.D Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks for Associate Professor and Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55%marks (or an equivalent grade) at the Master’s Degree level for Assistant Professor and refer notification for post wise qualification, experience and pay scale details
Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to take Demand Draft of Rs.500/- for general drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Pondicherry University payable at Pondicherry from any Nationalized Bank and no fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women/ Ex-servicemen candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format along with Submission of proof with reference in prescribed format, 5 copies of filled in Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), all publications as books and research/ policy papers, attested copies of certificates towards the evidence of Age, Educational Qualifications, Community, Physical Disability, Experience, DD, NOC, Latest proof for salary drawn, attested copy of service certificates indicating post and period of experience, research project undertaken, Ph.D/ M.Phil guidance/ awarded, Copy of certificates relevant to training courses attended, seminars, conference and by superscribing the envelope with the post applied for and send to The Deputy Registrar (Admn), Pondicherry University, R Venkataraman Nagar, Kalapet, Puducherry – 605014, India on or before 21-02-2014 by 5:30 PM.
